The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.

Summary of position:

To set and operate a range of CNC/Manual controlled machinery within the company as required

Main responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

Main Duties

Setting and operating CNC/Manual machines including;
Newall Universal Cylindrical Raised Head Grinder
Kellenberger Universal Cylindrical Grinder
Production of precision machined components and tooling items as required
Checking the quality of components produced throughout the batch cycle
Recording of quantities and time taken using company systems
Carry out regular 1st line maintenance of the machines as per company schedules
Following company procedures as required

Qualifications:

Special Requirements

The role will involve setting an operating a variety of CNC & Manual Cylindrical Grinders.
Must be Perficient in using Fanuc machine controls
Grinding of external and internal diameters to close tolerance working conditions
Must be willing to work a 3 shift rotating shift pattern.
Must have experience of working in a close tolerance Aerospace environment.
Carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by Senior Management.
