Head of Sales & Marketing


We are established throughout the island of Ireland, supplying to mainly Major Retailers such as Tesco UK, ALDI ROI, Sainsburys, Musgrave, Hendersons & SPAR Scotland.

We employ people who are as passionate about our products as we are. We have invested £1.5 Million into Our State of the art, BRC Accredited factory. Our Sustainability Plan is constantly reviewed, and we are continually investing in our factory to become more sustainable.


We have a clear strategy to grow, and to enable us to achieve this we have a fantastic opportunity for a UK & Ireland Head of Sales & Marketing Manager to provide strong leadership & direction into the business sales.


Main Responsibilities;

  • Introduce new customers to our business
  • Manage the interface with the customer to create and maintain an enduring relationship and ensure positive development.
  • Develop and implement longterm strategic plans in collaboration with the customer to deliver volume growth and optimal market performance.
  • Engage with NPD to ensure targeted first to market innovation and existing product development to align with consumer trends and customer needs.
  • Lead, manage and develop Marketing to keep up to date with customer and consumer trends and market performance metrics to inform the Commercial and NPD strategy.
  • Negotiate prices with customers, including promotional pricing.

Key experience, knowledge and skills

  • 5+ Years experience in a product or FMCG category management role, ideally with the big retailers.
  • Solid, proven experience of negotiating prices and agreements.
  • Demonstrable experience of successful internal and external stakeholder relationship management.
  • Proven leadership capability with a track record of successfully leading commercial teams.
  • Practical understanding of business accounting and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to sell in a compelling way.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and influence at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to spot emerging trends and initiatives within the food market.
  • Ability to lead, manage and develop a team to secure their engagement and deliver high performance.
  • Sound understanding of business drivers with the ability to identify technical opportunities to achieve those drivers.
  • Ability to gather and analyse data to identify opportunities and potential risks.
  • Strong commercial acumen.

Normal hours will be 40 Per week Mon - Sun.

You will be based both in our Factory office in Crossgar and on the road.

Travel will be mandatory in order to meet customers all across the UK & Ireland and will involve overnight stays.


Salary:
£45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
