Building Performance Modeller

Exceptional opportunity for an experienced modeller to join our clients' expanding Building Performance Modelling team in Edinburgh.

This role requires a motivated team player who is keen and willing to learn.

As such, essential personal attributes for this role include a strong sense of ownership for the work that you do.

You must care about the presentation and detail of the design and have a strong desire to achieve technical excellence and completeness.


ABOUT YOU
To qualify for this role, you should ideally have a background in maths, science or engineering. You should have a strong desire to work in the building design industry.


Ideally, you will have the minimum equivalent of 2 years' experience in delivering this type of modelling within IES-VE and have an understanding of low energy and passive design.

A basic understanding of mechanical engineering design within the building services sector would also be advantageous.

Good communication skills are important for this role.

You will show attention to detail, have excellent time management and organisational skills as the nature of the work means they will potentially have several projects in progress at once.
