Canopy Supervisor Cowdenbeath

Grahams the Family Dairy is looking to recruit a Canopy Supervisor for their production site at Glenfield in Cowdenbeath, Fife.

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will be entrusted with a high degree of independence and have a genuine opportunity to make a meaningful impact towards the growth of the business.

This role is dayshift, 5 days over 7.

Key Responsibilities

Liaising with shift managers and forklift drivers; ensuring the packaging required is available for production
Responsible for managing the team
Work together with the staff in the chill area to ensure swift transfer of completed pallets into chilled storage
Ensuring outer case label verification checks are carried out
Liaising with technical; investigating any issues
Maintain a clean and tidy working environment, ensuring high standards throughout the department
Ensuring all members of the canopy team adhere to the site hygiene rules, enforcing compliance
Identify opportunities for improvement
Maintaining a culture of food safety and quality within the team
