An exciting opportunity has arisen in Central London Community Healthcare, Speech and Language Therapy Service to join our Early Years team in delivering a service to the Boroughs of Westminster, Hammersmith and Fulham and Kensington and Chelsea.

We provide comprehensive assessment and therapy packages for pre-school children with a range of speech, language, and communication needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative and creative Speech and Language Therapy Assistant with very good communication skills to work as part of our highly skilled, dynamic and supportive Early Years Speech and Language Therapy team.

To develop and implement programmes of support to children and families under the direction of the Speech and Language Therap y line manager and team, to promote d e v e l o p m en t o f c o m m u n i c a t i o n, language, speech skills for preschool children and young people

s o c i a l c o m m u n i c a t i on, p l a y, a t t en t i on, unde r s t and i ng, l anguag e an d s pee c h.

To run groups with the speech and language therapists.

To plan and deliver, under the supervision of the Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, health promotion activities, workshops and programmes of education / therapy practice for families and early years practitioners

To provide advice to others regarding the development of early language and communication skills
