Are you passionate about enhancing a child or young person's everyday life?

Would you like to progress your career by working with children who require complex clinical care?

We are looking to recruit Healthcare Assistants who have a genuine interest in working with children and young people, to support our service user, who has complex care needs.

Our service user is a toddler who lives with her family in Birmingham. She requires support on a 1:1 basis throughout the night.

She is an active little girl who loves being around her family and care team. She is a very sociable individual and loves to receive lots of cuddles from those around her. She enjoys playing with her sensory toys and lights, she especially likes her favourite butterfly and octopus toys.

Your role will be to assist her with her nightly routine. This can include but is not limited to personal care, regular repositioning, and oxygen management.

Previous experience supporting children with complex care needs is desirable, however not essential as Apollo Home Healthcare offer advanced complex care training to help enhance your current skills.

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team

Essential Experience Required

3 months previous care experience
Medication Administration
Personal Care
Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

Precious experience working with children
Tracheostomy care
Gastrostomy Care (PEG Feeding)
Oxygen Administration
Knowledge of Spina Bifida

We have the following shifts available;

Part Time Nights
20 hours per week
10pm 8am

Take a look at our pay rates Night shifts (Weekdays and weekends)
- £13.00 per hour Approx. £130 per 10 hour shift Bank Holidays
- £14.50 per hour Approx. £145 per 10 hour shift.
