The Royal Opera House continues to lead the way in opera, ballet, music and dance both live on stage and through multiple digital platforms, from live streaming to worldwide cinema screenings.

Based at our iconic heritage site in Covent Garden, the ROH Shop is open to our visitors and customers daily from midday.

We are now looking for a Retail Supervisor to supervise the day-to-day operation of the ROH Shop.

Working alongside the Assistant Manager and deputising for them when required, you will work across the whole retail team (e-commerce and the ROH Shop) to ensure that an exceptional level of customer service is delivered by the retail team and to make an effective contribution to the retail team objectives by leading efficient, professional and accurate sales and working to department procedures.

Substantial retail experience with a proven sales track record
Experience of Line Management
Proven ability to make an effective contribution to a proactive sales environment instore and for order fulfilment for phone or online customers
Numeracy and accuracy in taking payments, reconciliation, order processing and stock taking
Ability to manage own time effectively and use initiative in an exceptionally busy customer facing role
Ability to respond to changed priorities and incorporate new procedures, systems and new working practices into day to day operations

Interviews will be held in person at the Royal Opera House on Thursday 24th and Friday 25th August.
