SENse Learning are on a mission to ensure no child is left behind.

We provide bespoke and holistic educational packages to children and young people who are out of school or struggling to attend.

Since we were established in 2019, we have experienced significant growth and expansion. We now work across the country and are continuing this growth in 2023. We are now recruiting for a superstar Admissions Coordinator to help support this growth. This role is pivotal to our operations and is a varied role.

One day you may be going out and carrying out home visits, meeting young people or parents/carers, the next you may be putting together costings and sending this out to Local Authorities, or working on multiple timetables.


You need to have first class communication skills, ability to remain calm in front of parents/carers who are often at crisis point and database management skills.


This role will suit someone from an educational background who may want to move into a more operational role but wants to stay within education.

Ideally, someone who has experience with EHCPs.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient, professional and compassionate advice to prospective parents and carers about the provision via written and verbal communication.
  • Overall responsibility for our referral process.
  • Database management enter and regularly update data accurately and within appropriate timescales.
  • Ensure the provison of an effective and efficient admissions service.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Deliver a high quality service to all stakeholder.
  • Administration of all admissions into the provision.
  • Maintaining waiting lists.
  • Assisting with the transfer and receipt of student files and documentation in line with statutory procedures.
  • Contacting parents/carers to book home visit asessments.
  • Responding to Local Authorities and on roll schools.
  • Completing assessment paperwork.
  • Understand the EHCP paperwork and make initial assessment of paperwork.
  • Carry out home visit assessments.
  • Write up home visit assessment paperwork.
  • Complete welcome booklets and timetables for all students.
  • Assist in the matching of Associate teams to students.
  • Liaise with the Finance Department for invoicing purposes and student budgets.
  • Communicate key information regarding start dates with the Local Authority and on roll schools.
  • Liaise with external agencies when needed.
  • Manage information confidentially and sensitively.


The duties and responsibilities are difficult to define in detial and may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the duties or level of responsibilities entailed.

The post-holder is therefore expected to undertake such other duties as may be requested provided the general character of the duties or level of responsibility does not change.

Such variations cannot in themselves justify a reconsideration of the grading of the post.


Salary:
£26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
