Assistant Accountant- Antrim
Reed Recruitment is excited to be working in partnership with a local distribution company based in Antrim.
Due to expansion our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with Monthly management accounts
- P& L Reconciliations
- Bank Reconciliations
- Quarterly reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts
- VAT returns
- HRMC enquiries
- Accurate Financial information and reports, including departmental requests on spend
- HMRC Intrastat returns
- General accounting duties to include credit control, purchase ledger, sales ledger and banking
- Liaising with HR Department
- Audit Preparation
Essential Criteria:
- 5 years' experience within a Finance Department
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Detail orientated, highly organised with the ability to work to deadlines.
- Very focused and diligent, high level of attention to detail
- Part Qualified Accountant or Accounting Technician
