Castell Howell Foods is Wales' leading independent food service wholesaler, servicing the length and breadth of Wales, the Border Counties and the South West of England.

We currently have a vacancy for a Food Production Operative based at Farm Fresh in Cross Hands.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and produce food product in a controlled environment as per daily orders in accordance with food safety standards
Ensure food hygiene policies are adhered to at all times
Ensure that recipes are adhered to and that no deviation occurs at any time
Maintain a high standard of Personal Hygiene and Food Hygiene practices
Adhere to Health and Safety practices and observe Health and Safety standards as per current legislation
Follow and monitor a daily and weekly cleaning schedule
Ensure the cleanliness of your working environment
Maintain stock rotation in accordance with correct storage of food products
Observe the correct method and implementation of packaging and labelling
Ensure all company traceability procedures are adhered to

What we offer:

A fulltime position, Monday-Friday 07:00 to 16:00.

- £22,672 per annum

25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays. You may be expected to work some Bank Holidays if required.
