This role is based in Somercotes, Derbyshire

Job role:

Order Picker/Packer required in Somercotes, Derbyshire


Hours:

Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm


Salary:

£10.62 per hour *Paid Weekly*An
excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Warehouse Operative/Order Picker to join our client in Somercotes, they are a multi-award winning second generation family owned business, who are looking for enthusiastic individuals to be a part of the growth.


Please bare in mind the below requirements:

Full work history required (no gaps) must have warehouse and picking experience

Benefits:


  • Work as a Warehouse Operative/Order Picker and conduct picking/packing for a growing warehouse, with lots of progression opportunities with a family owned business (Team leader, FLT Driver, Stores Control etc.)
  • You will progress from a Order Picker, to Packing Operative and above
  • Pay every Friday, with a payslip Thursday
  • Casual dress high vis and safety boots only requirements
  • Temp to perm after 12 weeks
  • Opportunities to train up on CB FLT if you do not have one. Pay rate increases after successful with that
  • Quarterly incentives going for food with team, Christmas parties

Responsibilities:


  • Working as a Warehouse Operative Order picker
  • Working your way up to an Order Packer and helping with multiple tasks
  • Loading and unloading containers
  • Arranging and putting stock away within the warehouse
  • Weighing pallets
  • Cleaning the warehouse daily, ensuring it is kept clean at all times.


As a
Warehouse Operative you be in charge of the order picking as well as taking products to be packed and ready for despatch.

You will need to be adaptable as every day is different.
