Job Purpose


The role of People Advisor is essential to the smooth delivery of our people strategy and as a consequence is very varied.


Reporting to the Head of People, you will be responsible for providing sound and accurate advice and guidance to managers across the divisions on employment relations matters and management issues.

Your focus will be to administer people policies, coach managers in getting the best from their staff and offering proactive advice on existing processes.

There will also be ample opportunity to support strategic projects such as employee engagement, employee development and ESG and ED&I initiatives.

Full induction and training will be provided.

We would love to welcome you to our state-of-the-art headquarters on the Crewe Business Park. Working hours of Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.

This role will require you to be based at our office 5 days per week.

Flexibility to travel to our offices located across the UK may also be required where needed and planned in advance.


Your responsibilities day to day will be

  • To act as the first port of call for employee relations and management issues arising across the business including capability investigations, including grievance and disciplinary.
  • Support managers in absence management a cases.
  • Work systematically through a high volume of employee relations matters and ad hoc enquiries.
  • Support the People Business Partners in monitoring, reviewing, and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with the current legislation.
  • Informing employees of their rights and entitlements and keeping them up to date on any changes that are made
  • Managing staff relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectations.
  • Handling human resource matters reliably and in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Partnering with line managers to review employee relations, performance management and staff management.
  • Have an ability to look ahead and plan your time to meet the needs of a growing and fastpaced business.
