The Assurance Co-Ordinator role will be an initial contract until 01/05, paying between £350 - £400/Day Inside IR35.
This role is inside IR3- Due to the service of the role it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Role Profile:
- We are looking for a competent and motivated person to develop and implement a complementary set of inyear and endyear assurance activities, processes and systems; support directorates across the organisation and overseas posts and second line policyowners to embed their control framework and gain assurance that controls are operating effectively
- In 2021/22, they launched the Management Assurance Process (MAP), which facilitates assurance for the operation of policies and processes across all functional areas, such as HR, Finance, Estates etc. The post holder will help to raise awareness of theinternal control framework and support teams to embed it in their processes. They will also advise teams on how they can gain assurance for themselves and implement central assurance activities
- Coordinating the Management Assurance Process, and in conjunction with the team leader, analyse UK directorates and overseas posts' returns
- Working with policy teams to embed assurance activities within 2nd line policy teams, and to agree key controls and assurance criteria to include in the end year MAP commission template/questionnaire
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate and programme policy teams, DG and Directors' outer offices to support teams to design and implement inyear assurance processes
- Maintain strong relationships with the directoratelevel Assurance Lead community, communicating updates regularly and ensuring that the end year MAP commission lands well across the organisation
- Supporting the team leader to draft the Annual Assurance Report, and help present the findings to the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee, and supporting the development of the Accounting Officer Systems Statement (AOSS)
- Developing and delivering training and awareness and outreach activities for MAP stakeholders
- Reviewing, improving, and building upon the control and assurance framework to continually drive standards of assurance and compliance up across the department
