Description

NHS Lanarkshire are looking to recruit a full time, fixed term (6 months) Clinical Secretary (Booking Office) based at Wishaw University Hospital within the surgical department.

The post holder will provide a comprehensive administrative service within the department to staff who utilise the endoscopy units in all three sites

Knowledge, Training and/or Experience required to do the job

Good basic education.
Understanding of a range of work procedures, all of which are nonroutine, requiring an intermediate level of theoretical knowledge
Expertise knowledge gained through experience of the endoscopy service within NHSL
Expertise knowledge gained through experience of the range of administration procedures.
Knowledge of Software programmes
Understanding of medical terms and knowledge acquired through further experience.
Good organisational and communication skills
