Your new role:

About the role:


  • Carrying out routine and adhoc janitorial duties in support of all on site personnel to ensure compliance with contract conditions
  • Carrying out planned janitorial maintenance duties in accordance with agreed timescales and procedures and undertake any property maintenance work within the post holder's range of competence
  • Supervising, developing and monitoring of all cleaning staff to ensure cleaning standards are maintained in accordance with contract conditions and agreed quality management procedures
  • Maintaining the safe and efficient operation of all the school's energy systems in accordance with agreed contract conditions
  • Providing support and assistance to any other sites as directed by the Lead Janitor or Facilities Manager

We're looking for someone with knowledge of health & safety issues and the need for safe methods of working, together with good customer care skills.

You'll also need a knowledge of COSHH regulations, be able to use lots of initiative and the confidence to work on your own.
