Monarch Healthcare are recruiting for a Cook to join our team at Heeley Bank Care Home.

Heeley Bank offers care and nursing support for up to 64 people in a spacious, well-maintained home.

Based within a residential area in Sheffield, S2, Heeley Bank Care Home benefits from good transport links to the surrounding areas.

Hours:
We work on a rota basis, including alternate weekends and some bank holidays. The rate of pay is dependent on qualifications and experience.

We are looking to speak with people who are passionate about cooking and providing a range of quality meals for the people who live within the care home.

We will look to you to prepare and cook, hot and cold meals, whilst taking into consideration dietary requirements and individual preferences.

Shift times:07:00-16:30 - 4 Days per week

Further responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

Maintain accurate records of food supplies and deliveries
Stock rotation
Ensure all equipment is cleaned and well maintained
Ensure the cleaning of the kitchen and dining areas are carried out effectively
Ensure statutory Health and Safety standards in the kitchen and dining areas. Report any faulty equipment.

You will be joining a supportive team, who are focused on providing person-centred care and support.

You will work with a Kitchen Manager and Kitchen Assistants as well as the full staff team at Heeley Bank Care Home.
