£23,779 per year (based on a full time salary of £30,306)- 30 hours per week (to potentially include some evening work)

As
Connecting Communities Coordinator, you will be providing information and guidance to clients with mental health problems, helping them to connect with services in BLG Mind and the wider Greenwich Borough.
Alongside managing a caseload, you will nurture relationships with key partners, as well as building new partnerships, which will enable the service to evolve with the need of its clients.
Liaising with the database manager, you will identify key themes about our client base, in order to identify areas for service development.
BLG Mind is committed to creating diverse and inclusive services, and an important part of your role will be to make the service more accessible, and more welcoming to underserved communities.
You will also be helping to promote signposting, information and guidance amongst the team in Greenwich.This will involve arranging visits from local services to talk about what they offer and creating signposting leaflets for staff.
In order to help you deliver the above duties, we will support you to recruit a small team of volunteers.
You will have experience of the following to make you stand out:
- Supporting people with mental health problems, disabled people, or people with health needs
- Using a database and computer literacy
- Liaising with health and social care professionals
- A strong understanding of managing risk and/or safeguarding
Successful applicants will be expected to undergo an Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service check
