We are currently recruiting Construction Equipment Test Drivers to join a world leader's Research department located in ST10 3HA. The primary function of this role is to operate and assess products manufactured by the company. This role is full time temp to perm, and there are various shifts available (listed below).

Key job duties:

Operation and test of either Backhoe Loaders, 360 Excavators, Telehandlers, Wheel Loader Shovels within a controlled test environment
Produce daily performance reports on each product evaluated
Working with Development Engineers to test and develop products
Play an active role in maintaining the test sites and the facilities
Comply with health and safety rules at all times

Available shifts (you choose your preference):

Days
Monday to Wednesday 7am to 7pm and Thursday 7am to 11:30am, plus the option for overtime

Nights

Monday to Wednesday 7pm to 7am and Thursday 7:30pm to 11:30pm, plus the option for overtime

Weekends

Thursday 2:30pm to 7pm and Friday to Sunday 7am to 7pm, plus the option for overtime

Pay rates:

Overtime is paid at premium rates (1.5x & 2x basic day rates on offer).

Person specification to be considered for these roles:

Ideally, you will be trained and competent on at least 2 of the following: Backhoe Loaders, 360 Excavators, Telehandlers, Wheel Loader Shovels.
Have operator experience within a variety of disciplines e.g. on construction sites, or in farming/agricultural environment.
Ideally hold tickets that relate to the operation of the above equipment.
Flexibility in role with regards to shift patterns
Have basic computer skills
