£28,106 - £37,000

Leader Education is currently recruiting for a English Teacher for a SEMH specialist school in Burnley.

You will be required to teach a small classroom of pupils that will be supported with TA's.


You:


  • A qualified secondary teacher who specialises in English will be considered for the role (QTS)
  • Previous experience with SEMH children is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to promote effective, inclusive education for children will be considered
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Have a high standard of classroom skills
  • Be encouraged by the challenge of reengaging disengaged learners through positive activities and outcomes including vocational, hands on, active learning
  • Have a passion for teaching and learning with the ability to make learning enjoyable and fun
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborative working.
