The role will manage all aspects of finance, including management of outsourced service providers, key strategic initiatives, stakeholder management and the production / review of detailed board papers, in addition to supporting capex approvals and M&A activity.


Key responsibilities:

  • Ownership of all finance matters relating to the business
  • Support Senior Leadership to devise and implement key operational strategies
  • Liaise with key financial institutions including banking and investor groups
  • Develop a strong financial control environment, ensuring robust procedures and policies in place to support growth of the organisation
  • Financial modelling to support capex / investment decisions a
  • Production / review of board papers
  • Review of monthly management accounts, providing key insights on trends / variances to the board and senior management team
  • Cash flow forecasting, cash management
  • Assistance in budgeting, longer term forecast preparation
  • Support of strategic planning through financial and market analysis
  • Supporting any M&A activity of the Group
  • Any other tasks as required by the CEO and Leadership team

Key attributes:

  • Breadth of experience across finance disciplines including statutory reporting, management reporting and Board reporting. Previous Due Diligence and / or M&A experience would be beneficial
  • Strong financial control experience with the ability to improve process, procedure, and the control environment
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to liaise across the business with Senior Management, Investors, Operations and Legal
  • Proven record of delivering in a senior finance role in a dynamic, high growth SME environment with both UK and International operations
  • Act as main point of contact with financial institutions including banking and private investors
  • Previous experience in the drinks industry would be highly advantageous
  • Requirement to maintain confidentiality
  • This role can be performed on a full time or part time basis
