Chrysalis Homecare are seeking kind, dedicated and compassionate care workers to join our team

Location:
Trafford, Manchester

What the role will entail:


  • Providing care to adults 18+ with conditions such as dementia, alcohol/drug abuse, mental health issues and older age.
  • Provide daily visits to service users who live independently in their own homes and assist in living activities including support and encouragement.
  • Completing tasks and duties as outlined in their individual care plan unique to each service user.
  • Assisting service users with personal care toileting, washing, dressing, incontinence pad changes etc.
  • Administering/support prescribed medication as directed.
  • Promote independence and choice where possible.
  • Promote the dignity and personcentered care of the service user you are caring for.
  • Providing companionship support to service users who may be at risk of loneliness.
  • Monitoring health and wellbeing, noting any changes in conditions and reporting to supervisors.

Availability required:


  • Morning and lunch core visit times are between 7am & 3pm
  • Tea and bed core visit times are between 3pm & 10pm

Pay Rates & Mileage
- £12.00 per hour Monday
  • Friday
- £12.25 per hour Weekends

  • Enhanced bank holiday rate
  • 25p per mile

What experience is needed?


Here at Chrysalis Homecare, you don't need previous experience as full training is provided with ongoing support from our team of local professionals.

If you have any personal experience caring for people, these skills are transferrable, and care work could be the career for you
