- Job Purpose
- To work safely, produce welded components to acceptable quality standards and in a timely manner. Have involvement in all aspects of teamwork within their designated cell.
- Job Description
Work in a safe manner, produce a quality product, achieve standard times, meet on time delivery requirements, ensure compliance with Quality and HSE procedures.
- Be able to weld to applicable WPS and produce welds that are acceptable to Q specs and industry standards.
- Maintain traceability of parts. Record quality data.
- Communication with Manufacturing Lead. Participate in cell activities.
- Maintain good housekeeping through 5S initiative.
- You are meant for this job if:
- City & Guilds part 1 & 2 (or equivalent).
- Experience in a weld shop environment.
- Product knowledge and HSES.
- Problem solving ability to define problems.
- Good organisational skills.
- Working knowledge of office tools and multiple company platforms (SAP) desireble.
