An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join an already very successful team.

The role is to assist health and safety manager and site manager with all kind of admin duties with a view to progress and undertake additional duties in compliance.

Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

  • Update weekly Daily Production Data provided by Site Manager onto spreadsheets.
  • File new, existing and leaving employee paperwork including inductions.
  • Administer PUWER & LOLER inspections of onsite plant, vehicles and equipment.
  • Administer PPE system including entering details of orders and items handed out onto spreadsheet.
  • Accident reporting administration.
  • Translate internal documents and, or live conversation as and when required.
  • Check CCTV is working correctly once a day and view CCTV footage when authorised by management.
  • Administer Training for all staff incl. booking training, updating records and sending out reminders.
  • Deal with suppliers and contractors as and when required.
  • Liaison with temporary labour providers on timesheet / cards.
  • Administration of sampling various material such as soil, water and more.
  • Quote for and order various things such as PPE, diesel and other.
  • Contractors management ensuring all contractors has completed H&S paperwork and provided relevant paperwork.
  • Induct new starters and contractors to the company standard as trained to do so.
  • Undertake additional duties such as carrying out return to work interviews and performing drug and alcohol testing as trained and authorised to do so.

Requirements:


  • Fluent in English and Polish
  • Administration background
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets in Excel with confidence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of numeracy, literacy and computer skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and to work accurately and effectively even under pressure
  • Excellent customer care skills
  • Ability to work in a team as well as on own initiative
  • Previous experience in working within this sector is desirable
  • Punctual
  • Reliable
  • Keen to learn new skills and willing to attend trainings
  • High awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental
  • Flexible approach
  • Full UK Driving Licence desirable but not required due to site location
Salary to be discussed.


Salary:
£21,840.00-£26,000.00 per year
