We are looking to recruit a part time Senior Business Support Officer, the role is 18.5 hours a week, working over 2.5 days on a Monday and Tuesday 9-5 pm and Wednesday am.


We are looking for someone that is self-motivated and can demonstrate they have the skills to manage and motivate a team of Administrators, Cooks and Centre Assistants.

Experience of managing people would be beneficial.


This is a busy role with responsibilities to manage the day to day running of the Family Hubs and Children Centre sites and working across our network of 8 sites.


We are looking for someone that has a friendly and approachable manner, with the ability to multi-task and take on challenges as they arise.

We require this individual to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

They need to be able to work as a team member and also independently to complete tasks within a timely manner.

We require someone who has excellent I.T. skills and experience of working with a broad range of microsoft packages. This role has direct responsibility for overseeing the collation of payments, financial recording, budget monitoring and banking.


The successful applicant would be required to:

  • Provide management oversight and quality assurance of all business and financial support services across Early Years.
  • To coordinate and deploy staff to meet the needs and demands of the service.
  • Be able to implement, monitor, review systems and processes that support effective operations.
  • To be responsible for ensuring the HR functions are managed effectively within corporate guidance and process.
