An exciting and challenging role that will see you working with professionals, academics and students from across the University of Reading to deliver expert, professional communications that engage with students on issues as varied as student life itself.


About the role


Working with the Internal Communications (Student Engagement) Manager, as part of the Corporate Communications Team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering communication plans for University-wide projects and campaigns - working with stakeholders to agree objectives and identify appropriate channels; advising others on communicating effectively with students and proactively seeking opportunities to promote the teaching and learning agenda with staff and students.


You will also coordinate staff communications and engagement in support of strategic activity around teaching and learning and student experience.


About you
You are a confident and creative self-starter, able to juggle multiple priorities, with strong planning and organisational skills. You enjoy working with people and can build and maintain networks both internally and externally.

You're a true team player and a strong all-round communicator with excellent writing skills and attention to detail, plus experience of writing content for a variety of audiences for both print and online channels.
