We are looking for efficient, competent and enthusiastic individual, with a strong background and experience in healthcare, to support the delivery and assessment of our Healthcare Apprenticeship programmes.


You must be highly experienced in delivering training sessions and assessment of learning for the healthcare Apprenticeship standards, using an e-portfolio system and classroom delivery.

You must hold an assessor qualification e.g. Assessor Award/A1/D32/D33 (or be prepared to achieve within 9 months). You will also have a teaching qualification e.g. Award in Education and a vocationally a vocationally related Healthcare qualification.

The post is a 37.5 hour permanent post.

Applicants must be able to travel across all Northern Care Alliance sites.


The role will include a range of duties including conducting observations of practice within clinical settings, assessment of learner work using OneFile e-portfolio, delivery of training sessions including clinical skills e.g.

venepuncture and participating in the IQA process. Experience in a healthcare setting providing fundamental patient care is essential. The ability to communicate complex information is vital.
