Gleeson Recruitment Group are working with a high-growth PE backed business, who are looking to recruit a FP&A Manager in a newly created role, in Shropshire.

This business have grown hugely in the last 2 years, both through organic growth and acquisition. This ambition within the business will continue for years to come, with more acquisitions planned.
Salary on offer is up to £70K, plus bonus. You'll be required in the office 2/3 days a week, so there is lots of flexibility.

This role will suit an ACA/ACCA qualified, practice trained accountant, who is looking for a broad position, working closely with the CFO and FD, within a business going through an exciting transformational period.


Key responsibilities of the FP&A Manager role:

  • Playing a key role in supporting the FD and CFO in budgeting, forecasting and long-term process planning for the wider group
  • The preparation of business planning models and templates
  • Board pack and monthly management accounts preparation
  • Improving and streamlining the quality of management information and KPI reporting
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure financial targets are met
  • Monitoring and managing the Capex budget
  • Assisting and participating in the yearend audit

Experience required for the FP&A Manager role:

  • Must have a recognised accountancy qualification
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Strong analytical skills
  • M&A experience would be preferable, but not essential
  • Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience of working in an accountancy practice would be preferred
