About you

  • Have effective oral communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of organisations and people.

  • Have an ability to use analytical and problemsolving skills and to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision.

  • Have a working knowledge of regeneration issues within communities.
  • Have experience of tenant and community empowerment and involvement.
  • Be IT Literate with the ability to use MS Office systems including Word and Excel.
  • Have experience of working with community organisations and tenant groups.
  • Have a full valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for business travel.

What you'll do


You will provide tenant focused support, playing a key role in resident liaison, engagement and decanting to assist the delivery of corporate asset regeneration projects or programmes of work.

You will be the primary point of face-to-face contact, maintaining a high profile and listening carefully to residents to understand their needs and concerns to help ensure the long-term sustainability of estates and existing communities, helping to achieve our vision of prosperous people and places.


What you'll be responsible for

  • Working with the wider regeneration project team and maintaining a good understanding of any ongoing or future regeneration projects.
  • Maintaining a visible presence on regeneration estates, maintaining regular contact with residents, and progressing updates to enable a seamless service, ensuring any issues are promptly identified to avoid confusion, misunderstanding and minimise any concerns regarding regeneration.
  • Assisting in developing a programme of involvement and planning any resident consultation events, working with the Communications Team Manager on any publicity materials.
  • Undertaking housing needs surveys on regeneration estates to assess and accommodate existing resident needs, and to ensure any future development proposals are built around the existing community's needs.
  • Managing the endtoend resident decant support process, providing for the successful decant of any stock required for regeneration in a timely manner, whilst being sensitive to the needs of individual households.
  • Assisting in developing support packages for households that may experience difficulties with the decant process.
  • Working closely with the Lettings and Decant Coordinator and liaising with relevant teams within the local authority and other registered housing providers, maximising the potential for delivering decant strategies.
  • Maintaining a close working relationship with Neighbourhood Mangers and other frontline staff to ensure a consistent, community focused approach to services.
  • Carry out appropriate general administration duties and deal with correspondence as required, within set deadlines.
  • Maintain records in line with Trivallis procedures ensuring compliance with GDPR. You will need to promote our health and safety standards with both customers and contractors.
  • Support effective community engagement and consultation where needed, working in partnership with relevant staff and stakeholders.
