Trade Team are currently looking for a Cold store Supervisor to start ASAP for our client based in the East Riding Area


Daily Duties:


  • Ensure all palletised turf is processed through Profresh.
  • Oversee the completion of turf temperature checks and assessment of turf quality.
  • Provide information to the Distribution team regarding product weights as required.
  • Ensure the cold store is maintained in a clean and tidy state and turf is stored in a clear and organised manner to aid order processing and loading.
  • At all times ensure quality of palletised turf is a priority and wrapping or netting are completed safely and to a high standard.
  • Assume overall responsibility for the coolers, ensuring they are run correctly and are regularly cleaned, and all preventative maintenance is carried out to schedule.

Qualifications:


  • FLT License
  • Telehandler licence

Experiance:


  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment
  • Competent user of IT including Word and Excel
  • Practical engineering experience

Job Types:
Permanent, Temp to perm


Salary:
£10.42-£18.00 per hour

  • York, YO42 4NF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
