FRS are recruiting a Finance Assistant for a prestigious business based in Edgbaston.

Working as part of a small finance team and reporting into the Financial Controller, you"ll be responsible for the duties below, an array of transactional finance including Sales Ledger, Payroll, Bank Recs & covering Purchase Ledger in times of staff absence.

The business use Sage Payroll and experience of using this would be a real advantage

Duties will include:
Accurate maintenance of the sales ledger.

Maintain debt collection of the sales ledger
Provide ad hoc cover for purchase ledger
Accurate & timely processing of the company payroll - monthly calculations, reconciling payroll reports, uploading monthly payslips & submitting RTI information to HMRC
Be responsible for the posting of the bank transactions and ensure accurate postings and bank is reconciled
Provide assistance in credit card, and petty cash reconciliations, as and when required
Providing assistance and support to the Management Accountant
Any adhoc tasks as requested by the Financial Controller
