Job description:


The procedure requires that the operative sits or stands for long periods of time, that they can move around from machine to machine as required. Must be fit and able to lift the required kilos as laid out by HSE manual handling literature

Operative must be accurate and observant at all times when operating the injection moulding machines.

Main aspects of operator's job
To inspect various mouldings.

To trim mouldings where applicable

To count and use banding machine if required to band mouldings

To pack mouldings in box or cages and place on pallet weight varies from 10 kg to 22kg per box

To move and operate different moulding machines as designated

To assist mixing material operative in loading injection moulding machines

To assist where necessary engineers in resolving any moulding issues

To complete paperwork for each machine including scrap levels

To move scrap product to regrinding area

To take your breaks in line with your supervisors plan

To complete any tasks assigned by your supervisor/manager
