HR Advisor - FTC 6 months
Full time (37 hours per week)

A great opportunity to join a lovely charity based in Lewes and become an integral part of the HR team, working alongside another two HR Advisors and providing appropriate HR solutions and recommendations across the organisation.
The role offers the benefit of working from home 2 days per week, once settled and comfortable with your duties.
They are looking for someone with good all round HR experience, ideally working towards a CIPD qualification, however this is not essential as they are happy to assist with your development
Main responsibilities include:
- Provide advice and guidance to managers on employment policies, procedures and practices, ensuring compliance with employment legislation
- Be involved with recruitment matters as requested, including reviewing the recruitment strategy, job descriptions and adverts to make them more effective
- Manage the on boarding of all employees and liaise closely with the L&D Specialist to ensure appropriate induction is completed/booked within one month of commencement in post
- Take the lead on employee relations matters, including absence reviews, investigations and disciplinary and grievance hearings.
- Work with the HR Manager and L&D Specialist to create training programmes on HR related topics for managers and assist in the delivery of such training
