Service Care Solutions are looking for a Multi Tradesperson to work within the team at HMP Manchester on a 3-month contract.


Location:
Manchester


Job role/Responsibilities:


  • Perform a variety of maintenance tasks including decoration, joinery, and general repairs in domestic properties.
  • Maintain company tools, plant, materials, and other property.
  • Comply with company policies and directives regarding Health & Safety.
  • Complete assigned work orders to the required standard and within specified timelines.
  • Follow instructions and directives from line management and the Central Coordination Team.
  • Comply with relevant company Health & Safety Policies.
  • Carry out fabric repairs in both occupied and void properties.
  • Perform outofhours callout duties as required.

Knowledge/Experience required:


  • Completed a timeserved apprenticeship.
  • Hold an NVQ level 2 in Joinery or a similar discipline.
  • Possess a full UK driving license.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Strong joinery skills.
  • Experience with tiling and minor plumbing and plastering skills is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to use a PDA device.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
