The Role

Almac Sciences provides an integrated and bespoke API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) manufacturing service to the pharmaceutical industry with comprehensive scientific support.

Our client base is truly global and ranges from small biotech companies to Top 20 Pharma Companies.

The products we make are used by our clients in toxicity trials and Clinical Trials (Phase 1 to 3) in order to demonstrate the safety and efficacy of new drugs prior to commercial approval.

The overall responsibility of the Product Support Officer is to support activities in accordance with GMP compliance within operations (manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, and plant chemistry).

Duties include supervision of production assistant, CAPA management, completion of compliance walks, offering support in the validation of new equipment and updates to SOPs and POIs,

What we are looking for

Essential Criteria

A Level (or equivalent) level of education
Experience in a role interacting with manufacturing within a GMP environment

Desirable Criteria

Degree (or equivalent) in a life sciences discipline
Direct GMP manufacturing operations experience

Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time, permanent employment in the UK
