Description
As the marketing and social media coordinator, you will:
Support the delivery of strategic events for campaigns and clients, both virtually and in person, including logistics.
Provide communications support to events in which Mott MacDonald is participating.
Identify relevant events and produce event execution plans. Develop, manage and update calendar of events.
Perform pre, during and post event tasks promptly.
Draft and schedule content for the Mott MacDonald social media channels and employee advocacy platforms.
Work with our talent acquisition team to generate people-focused social media content in support of their recruitment goals.
Support the updating and maintenance of content on our Mott MacDonald corporate websites.

Monitor staff and project compliance with Mott MacDonald brands and provide advice and guidance to staff on their appropriate use.

Support the delivery of media and communication reports to analyse output, results and social media engagement.

General responsibilities:
Contribute to the general work of the team and of the company as a whole.
Respond to ongoing communications queries, escalating to the relevant team member when necessary.

Establish good and considerate working relationships with all staff in the organisation in a way which demonstrates respect for their particular role and responsibilities.

Any other tasks and responsibilities as agreed with the Digital Communications Manager and the Regional Communications and Marekting Head.

  • A business related or marketing degree, or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in a similar marketing and socila media role.
  • Impeccable grasp of the English language, written and spoken
  • Experience in producing a wide range of effective communication products, including but not limited to newsletters, web and social media content.
  • Experience organising events and meetings physical and virtual.
  • Essential competencies/skills:
  • Proven experience producing engaging social media content, ideally for B2B or talent acquisition/recruitment audiences.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously can manage time efficiently, able to prioritise and be flexible to changing demands.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Proactive approach to work and ability to use own initiative.
  • Highly inquisitive and always keen to learn about new topics and sectors.
  • Works fast and accurately to meet tight deadlines.
  • Able to engage and influence stakeholders within a crosscultural environment.
  • Desired competencies/skills:
  • Experience working in a global team across multiple timezones.
  • Experience of adhering to corporate and client branding and external communications guidelines.
  • Competence with SharePoint and web content management systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams.
  • Familiarity with using Adobe or other graphic design packages.
