Very physical and heavy work You MUST be physically fit to go forward with this role as it involves lifting and cutting mattress' that weigh up to 80kg.

Role:
Mattress Recycling Operative


Location:
Alfreton (DE55) - Based in Riddings


Hours:
Monday - Friday 6am-1:30pm


Immediate starts working for a leading soft furnishing recycling company, they divert 100% of mattresses processed from landfill in the UK, working as a Mattress Recycling Operative.

Please note this role can be working OUTDOORS at times and dealing with used mattress' which are up to 89kg

Duties:


  • As a Mattress Recycling Operative for our client, you will be working within a fast paced warehouse, loading/unloading used mattress and also stacking them
  • Good team environment with music on
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
  • Working towards a daily target pay incentive when targets are exceeded
  • Following the health and safety instructions within the warehouse
  • Working as a team, in a fast paced environment to ensure all work is completed on time

Qualities ideal for this role:


  • Resilient when working in a high pressured environment
  • Confidence with using cutting/handheld tools
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy items when loading and unloading
  • Incentive to keep the workspace tidy and organised, whilst following health and safety
  • Experience as a Labourer

Pay Rate:
£11.44 an hour, with a bonus incentive when targets are hit.
