An exciting opportunity have arisen for a suitably experienced staff member to work at Band 2 level with the Endoscopy Unit.


The successful applicant will provide administration support for the Endoscopy Service and will need to use their own initiative to meet patient requirements and to ensure clinics are prepared ahead of clinic.


You will be working in a challenging environment that undergoes constant changes therefore you will need to exercise judgement and use a combination of skills to deal with day-to-day issues.


The post holder will be expected to demonstrate a sensitive and caring attitude that is client-focused and maintain a calm and organised approach when working under pressure.


  • Manning reception.
  • Prepping patient relevant documentation for clinic.
  • Booking video capsule and rebooking preassessment appointments.
  • Adding patient referrals to the waiting list.
  • Sending GP communications.

The endoscopy unit is supported by a dynamic newly expanded administration team. Our department provides both diagnostic, complex and innovative therapeutic endoscopic procedures and is led by experts in their field.


We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic administrator with a broad range of administrative experience including working with medical records, demonstrable reception skills, ideally PIMS trained in all areas.

The successful applicant will work alongside 3 other medical records assistants to facilitate a smooth front of house service provision.
