Aspire People are working with mainstream schools with SEN units, and SEN schools in Loughborough recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants/Behaviour specialist.

The mainstream schools offer various roles working in SEN units, or in the main school supporting 121 SEN needs depending on the child's requirements and ability.

Some schools have split the SEN unit into year groups ie EYFS up to KS2 therefore working withsmall groups.
The successful SEN Teaching Assistants/Behaviour specialist will need to have a qualification and have experience. The experience will be working with children with ADHD, Anxiety, Anorexia, Aphasia, Asperger's syndrome, Auditory processing disorder, Autisticspectrum disorder, Behavioural difficulties

EBD, SEBD and SEMH.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistants/Behaviour specialist must have good behaviour management skills and techniques, wanting to make a difference and must be reliable and consistent.

NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant

CACHE Level

BA Education Studies
NCFE
Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education Early Years Educator
Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Advanced,
Level 3 Certificate in the Principles of Special Educational Needs (RQF)
Autism Awareness

Autism Awareness

Advanced
Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Diploma
