Reed Education are currently recruiting for a Geography Teacher for a school in Salford for a long-term opportunity.

You will have full teaching responsibility including but not limited to:

  • Planning prepping and marking work
  • Managing behaviour in line with school policy
  • Assessing students and ensuring they are on track to hit their projected grades.
  • Attending departmental meetings and school based CPD
  • Conducting parent evenings.
  • Any other duties as required by the department in line with your role.

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Must have QTS or equivalent
  • Must have recent relevant experience of teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4, KS5 would be an advantage
  • Be reliable, committed and interested in working with students and demonstrate the qualities of a good role model (qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness and good listening skills)
  • Have good interpersonal skills; be trustworthy, punctual as well as being patient and confident when working with children
