Hardwick Hall Hotel are recruiting for experienced Bar Staff to come and join our team.

Set in 120 acres of parkland, Hardwick Hall Hotel lies in the heart of the beautiful County Durham countryside.

Surrounded by the stunning Hardwick Country Park, our hotel is steeped in charm and character providing the perfect setting for a luxurious break.

Our Bar Staff play a vital role in ensuring our guests receive the highest level of customer service, so they come back time and time again.

You will be responsible for taking beverage orders from customers or waiting staff and serving drinks as requested, mixing beverages using an extensive range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruits, as well as general duties such as stocking, sanitising, cleaning bar areas and tables etc.

We are looking for someone who is happy to work in a fast-paced environment, with previous bar experience, ideally working within a luxury hotel or fine dining/bistro restaurant.

You will need excellent time management and communication skills, be able to demonstrate high standards of cleanliness and work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.

But most importantly, you will have a passion for customer service, and enjoy providing a memorable service.

Full and part time positions are available - the role will include evening and weekend working.
