GSK's Precision Medicine group is seeking an Oncology Clinical Imaging expert to join our innovative team. Our mission is to evaluate, develop and implement imaging biomarkers in clinical drug development.

In this role you will
-
Clinical Trials:Oversee and deliver imaging endpoints for Phase 1 to Phase 4 clinical trials, ensuring high-quality data and appropriate resource allocation.

Subject Matter Expertise:Serve as an in-house expert on imaging, particularly in later-phase clinical studies with common response assessment criteria.

Operational Excellence:Provide advice and recommendations on standardisation of imaging techniques to study teams and local Clin Ops colleagues, ensuring proper implementation and oversight of imaging in clinical trials.

Stakeholder Collaboration:Network within GSK's matrix environment to identify and meet stakeholder needs, progressing assets with cutting-edge imaging techniques.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with study teams and advanced technology groups (AI/ML, Stats, Precision Medicine) to devise and implement imaging biomarkers in clinical study protocols.

External Relationships:Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, imaging consultants, imaging CROs, and academic labs to support disease-specific imaging needs.

Global Network:Maintain a state-of-the-art knowledge of advances in imaging and represent GSK in external meetings and consortia.

Basic Qualifications & Skills:


We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's degree in a biomedical or imaging-related field.
  • Experience in clinical imaging using multiple radiological imaging modalities (e.g. CT, PET, MRI).
  • Experience in clinical pharmacology or drug development.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:


Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply:

  • Medical, master's or PhD degree with imaging experience in drug development.
  • Understanding of cancer biology and staging.
  • Detailed biological knowledge of other, nononcology therapy areas
  • Handson experience with clinical imaging in a research or hospital environment.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial design and statistics for endpoints.
  • Experience in clinical research working within an imaging CRO or within a pharmaceutical company.
  • Successful implementation of imaging strategies for biological targets or assets.
  • Experience in authoring scientific articles and clinical development documents.
  • Excellent communication, influencing skills, and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proactive, selfmotivated, and flexible working style.
