Sales Administrator Responsibilities

  • Answer all incoming customer telephone enquiries and monitor the general sales inbox.
  • Responding to all customer enquiries in a timely and organised manner.
  • Answer pricing, lead time and quotation enquiries.
  • Process customer purchase orders and cross check with customer pricing structures.
  • Creating quotes & estimates for orders
  • Accurately uploading and importing special order items where required.
  • Create commercial invoices for orders going outside the UK.
  • Check DPD and Palletways portals daily to ensure any delivery issues are addressed.
  • Take payment over the phone for cash sales.
  • Use the ERP system generated reports and past sales history to track and report trends.
  • Be responsible for creating, updating and issuing customer price lists.
  • Documenting standard processes, updating training literature, procedures and onboarding documents.
  • Managing the internal diaries and calendars.
  • Supporting the accounts team with customer invoice queries, proof of deliveries and billing related issues.
  • Updating monthly forecasts, ensuring dispatch dates are in line with customer requests and expected goods receival dates.
  • Booking site deliveries, recording all booking requirements and liaising with Warehouse teams and drivers.
  • Work towards achieving commission based KPI's.

Qualifications/ Skills Required

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with PDQ Machines.
  • Previous administrative experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Fantastic organisation skills.
  • Good level of numeracy
