Sales Administrator Responsibilities
- Answer all incoming customer telephone enquiries and monitor the general sales inbox.
- Responding to all customer enquiries in a timely and organised manner.
- Answer pricing, lead time and quotation enquiries.
- Process customer purchase orders and cross check with customer pricing structures.
- Creating quotes & estimates for orders
- Accurately uploading and importing special order items where required.
- Create commercial invoices for orders going outside the UK.
- Check DPD and Palletways portals daily to ensure any delivery issues are addressed.
- Take payment over the phone for cash sales.
- Use the ERP system generated reports and past sales history to track and report trends.
- Be responsible for creating, updating and issuing customer price lists.
- Documenting standard processes, updating training literature, procedures and onboarding documents.
- Managing the internal diaries and calendars.
- Supporting the accounts team with customer invoice queries, proof of deliveries and billing related issues.
- Updating monthly forecasts, ensuring dispatch dates are in line with customer requests and expected goods receival dates.
- Booking site deliveries, recording all booking requirements and liaising with Warehouse teams and drivers.
- Work towards achieving commission based KPI's.
Qualifications/ Skills Required
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with PDQ Machines.
- Previous administrative experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Fantastic organisation skills.
- Good level of numeracy
