Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Administrator on behalf of an exciting brand based in Walsall on a full-time permanent basis.

Reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager and working as part of a small and friendly team,you will support the activities of the invoice processing teams based oversees and be the main point of contact to support with queries, problem solving and escalation of issues.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Monitor the performance of the invoice processing teams overseas
  • Identify opportunities to improve current processes
  • Review monthly late payment report, identify suppliers paid late and agree next steps to ensure payment on time going forward
  • Monitor supplier queries and ensure relevant action to resolve
  • Support the finance team with forecasting by providing variances which may have an effect
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations
  • Attend supplier meetings where appropriate with Line Manager
  • On occasions work cross functionally within Finance to support with reporting and month end processes.


This role would suit an AAT studier with some previous experience in a busy and fast-paced finance team, who is looking to learn and progress within accounts payable.

Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs are essential.
