Hyde is looking to recruit an Empty Homes & Lettings Officer.

We work in partnership with our customers to develop and deliver better services for everyone. Property Services at Hyde is responsible for ensuring that we provide all customers with a safe home.

As Empty Homes & Lettings Officer you will deliver an outstanding empty homes and lettings service to existing and prospective customers of The Hyde Group, managing the empty homes and lettings process from the exit of customers to those entering our new homes, ensuring it flows seamlessly through the process and within agreed time frames.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and liaise with the Lettings Advisors to ensure that relet targets are achieved and loss of rental income is minimised.
Review and coordinate any repair recharges and liaise with Income Services to implement these.
Continuously update the empty home management system in Northgate during the empty homes and lettings process to ensure there is a clear audit of the journey of the Empty Home.
Prepare and organise empty homes for lettings, including the placing of adverts, whilst ensuring a consistent high quality of work.
Work closely with managers and Property Services to manage hard to let empty homes to ensure that decisions are made promptly in line with Hyde's Hard to let procedure, linking this into Asset Management where applicable.

Skills and Experience Required:

Strong communication verbal and written
Need to be motivated and have good organisational skills to manage your own schedule and work independently
Able to prioritise workload
Driving licence is desirable
