Pact (the Prison Advice & Care Trust) is a diverse, inclusive and collaborative national charity that provides caring and life changing services to men and women in prison, to people with convictions on release and in the community, and to their childrenand families.

Their volunteers and staff can be found across courts, prisons, probation services, and in communities across England & Wales.

They are now recruiting for a dynamic Deputy Head of Service Delivery & Development (Wales and Western England), aposition of considerable responsibility with operational accountability for the management, leadership and development of a range of services and programmes delivered across the region.

The Deputy Head of Service Delivery and Development will balance operational management of services (including Family Services across the region and grant funded projects) with having a region wide remit, as well as deputising for the Head of Service Deliveryand Development.

These regional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing volunteer strategy and processes, operational performance management and reporting standards, monitoring of safeguarding systems, health and safety and data protectionprocedures.

The post will contribute to the overall strategic direction of Pact and will be expected to assist with organisation-wide projects, such as policy development or leadership of key operational thematic areas.

Please note that although this role is home-based, regular travel across Wales and the South West will be required.
