We are looking for a
Search and Selection Coordinator to join our
Donor and Transplantation Services team.


Title:
Search and Selection Coordinator**
Salary:£30,937 - £33,447 per annum (DOE)**
Contract: Permanent, Fulltime

Hours: 35 per week (standard Anthony Nolan working hours)

Location:

Hybrid, with head office in Hampstead, London**The Search team at Anthony Nolan support both UK and overseas Transplant Centres in the identification of the best possible stem cell donor for their patients.


We provide search reports for UK and international registries for unrelated adult donors, as well as for cord blood units.

We facilitate the provision of blood samples from donors who have been selected for further investigation and ensure that the Transplant Centres have all the information they require to determine their final choice of donor for transplantation.


Essential attributes:


  • A degree in biological sciences, or equivalent
  • Ability to concentrate and work under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communications skills to build rapport with a range of colleagues and other stakeholders
  • Desire to learn and improve
  • Excellent attention to detail and problemsolving skills
  • Experience of effective time management and flexible approach with the ability to adapt to new and changing situations
  • A strong work ethic with the ability to work autonomously using own initiative
