Drivers Mate - £10.42ph - Runcorn

Introduction


We are looking for
enthusiastic and
hardworking individuals to join our clients distribution centre based in RUNCORN as a Drivers Mate working Monday to Friday, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to progress in there career.

Please note Drug and Alcohol testing will be carried out on first day of training.


Drivers Mate Pay

  • Drivers Mates days £10.42

Drivers Mate Shifts

  • Monday to Friday 06:00am starts
- working between 8-12 hours


Drivers Mate Responsibilities

  • Taking care when transporting goods
  • Heavy lifting and manual handling on a regular basis
  • Dealing with large alcohol crates/kegs etc
  • General warehouse duties
  • Carrying out routine vehicle checks and general upkeep/cleanliness of the cab
  • Making sure that the load is correctly placed and secure

Essential Experience/ Qualities for a Drivers Mate

  • Great work ethic
  • Knowledge and experience of manual handling
  • Attention to detail when delivering goods
  • Ability to work in high demanding role
  • Good communication skills
  • A team playercapable of working alone or in a team
  • Be able to use own initiative
  • MUST have a desire to progress

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Runcorn, Cheshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
