Pastoral Assistant - Junior & Sixth Form Boarding House

Part time, residential, term time only (35 weeks)

Required from September 2023
20-35 hours per week, term time (35 weeks). Shift pattern involving days, evenings and weekends.


Salary:
dependent on hours.

For 35 hours per week (35 weeks) from £13,991 to £15,538 per annum (FTE salary £28,509 - £31,660 per annum) plus 5.6 weeks holiday pay
.

Overnights may be required for which an additional allowance is payable.

At Cheltenham Ladies' College, we aim to provide a strong support network for every one of our pupils.

Around 720 girls will board with us in one of our 11 Sixth Form and Junior Boarding Houses and your role will be at the heart of our pastoral care as you join one of the dedicated, professional teams working under the direction of a Houseparent.

In addition to looking after our girls' wellbeing, you will help with the day-to-day running of the house. You may have experience in a similar role but it is not essential.

We are interested in those who can demonstrate a genuine interest in the development and welfare of young people, have common sense, a flexible attitude and enjoy working as part of a team.

Full training will be given.
