Learning Support Assistant - Braintree, United Kingdom - Reed Education
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with teachers to implement individualized education plans for students with diverse learning needs
- Provide oneonone support to students during class and in small group settings
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents
- Collaborate with teachers to modify classroom materials and assessments as needed
- Support students with behavioural and socialemotional needs in the classroom and around the school
- Support the ethos of the school
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in a Learning Support Assistant or working within a SEN setting in the past
- Knowledge of individualised education plans and special education policies and procedures
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and families
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
