Responsibilities:


  • The Director will provide independent contribution to the Board by offering their experience and oversight, constructively challenging the Partners and other Board members.
  • Work closely with the Partners and the other Board members to present independent thinking and guidance to the overall business strategy to ensure risks are managed effectively.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Partners on the strategy for people recruitment, development, and compensation.
  • Bring an independent perspective on the business and governance of the Board.
  • Help and guide the Partners to identify, mitigate and report all relevant risks across the business operations.
  • Advise on business development and overall business strategy.
**Experienced required: - 7+ years experience from consulting background (insurance or asset management)

Exceptional technical knowledge on, in particular:

  • The FCA Handbook and the implementation of key regulation.
  • Developing and undertaking Compliance Monitoring Programmes.
  • Undertaking core risk & compliance responsibilities including the provision of adhoc advice.
  • Performing horizon scanning of upcoming regulation/risks
  • Experience of implementing the rules/best practices; including the development of business requirement documents.
  • Experience of undertaking business health checks.
  • The ability to identify issues, articulate clear action plans and leading the remediation efforts.
  • Experience of dealing with senior stakeholders from across all areas of the business (1st and 2nd line).

Core skills:


  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of European regulation, particularly MiFID II.
  • Ability to articulate complex issues in a clear and concise manner.
  • Genuine interest in the securities markets, regulation and changing legislation.
  • Able to solve problems and a determination to seek answers to complex issues.

London (City).


Work Arrangement:
Hybrid.


Salary:
£75K+
